Manchester Removal costs will obviously depend on several factors:
- Size of removal van needed to carry out your house removals
- Number of trips you prefer i.e do you need your Manchester house moving in 1 go or if local move can you move house doing 2 or three trips?
- One Manchester removal van doing a couple of trips will alway be the cheaper option
- Number of men you would like – generally we us 2 men but if you want to reduce our moving house costs and can help yourself or have people to help, this will mean a cheaper house moving cost.
- Do you need a full house packing service?
- This will be an additional cost which we price at £30/hour plus cost of packing materials
- The distance between the house you are moving from and house moving to.
- Any furniture which you require your removal company to dismantle/reassemble will cost extra
- Flat/appartment moves can cost a little more than a standard house removal, particulary if you are moving from/to a higher level with no lift.
- Access issues can increse your Manchester removal costs - if a van cannot be parked within 15 – 20 yards from property entrance, this can mean extra time needed to compete your house move so costs of moving increase.
- Unusually large or heavy items of furniture may need special care/attention.
- Waiting for keys? If so, book your house move starting time near to lunch time as it is nearly always p.m. when things complete – waiting time charges can be incurred if removals van and team have to wait at new property for a while before unloading.
When asking for a house removals quote you should always point out any of the above factors, so that the removal company quoting for your home move can effectively estimate the time needed to complete your move and thus give you an accurate price.

Information re. the above points, plus an accurate inventory of furniture/items/boxes/bags to be moved, will allow us to give a removals quote as cheaply and as accurately as possible.
In many instances customers do not know how many boxes/bags they will have once packed up but a rough estimate is always better than no information at all.
It is very dificult to give an Average Removal Cost as no 2 properties are ever the same but we cn give a rough guide to moving house costs as follows:
All prices below assume moving from house or flat/appartment at ground/1st floor levels, parking within 15 yards of property entrance’s, no lehgthy carrying distances within aappartment blocks, no dismantling/re-assembling.
1/2 luton van full upto 350cub.ft, moving within 5 miles : £110 – 2 men, £75 – 1 man
To fill luton van (680cub.ft) “” “” “” : £195 – 2 men, £145 – 1 man.
If a 2nd trip is needed then plus £50/£60 for part van upto £90/£100 full van
